IHC-CD10
Test Details: Immunohistochemical testing is carried out on biopsy/resected tissue specimen. This testing helps to identify specific antigens (proteins) within tissue sections utilizing an antigen-specific antibody .CD10 (neprilysin) is a zinc-dependent cell membrane metalloprotease involved in the post-secretory processing of neuropeptides and vasoactive peptides. CD10 is not a cell line- or tumour-specific marker as it is expressed in a long list of tissue and tumour types of lymphoid, epithelial, and mesenchymal origin. CD10 is primarily useful in the classification of B-cell leukaemia/lymphomas and in some carcinomas like renal cell carcinoma.
