Flow Cytometry - CD15
Test Details: CD15 is a carbohydrate (not a protein) widely used for diagnosis of Hodgkin lymphoma. It is also known as LeuM1, Lewis X. It mediates phagocytosis and chemotaxis. CD15 staining is used to confirm diagnosis, or to differentiate Hodgkin lymphoma (CD15+) from anaplastic large cell lymphoma (usually CD15-). CD 15 is used as bio marker of myeloid lineage for diagnostic purpose in flow cytometry tests.
