Test Details: Immunohistochemical testing is carried out on biopsy/resected tissue specimen. This testing helps to identify specific antigens (proteins) within tissue sections utilizing an antigen-specific antibody CD35 is a transmembrane glycoprotein of 60-250 kD. Also known as CR1 as it binds the complement components C3 and C4b and there by clears foreign particles. IHC CD35 helps to stain follicular dendritic cells and subset of T-cells.
