M0057
MET Gene Amplification by FISH
Test Details: MET gene amplification, detected by FISH, has been associated with an unfavourable prognosis in non-small cell lung cancer and resistance to EGFR inhibitors, occurs in 5-20% of patients with EGFR-mutated tumours. Crizotinib/ Ceritinib has shown early evidence of clinical response in MET amplified patients. FISH is the current standard method for detecting MET gene amplification.
