Test Details: BCR-ABL mutation is formed by the combination of two genes, known as BCR and ABL also called as fusion gene. The test is recommended for initial diagnosis of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and Ph positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). The identification of different BCR-ABL fusion transcripts is useful in monitoring Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) status in known case of CML.
