Test Details: In AFB Drug susceptibility (KEPO) 2nd line test, susceptibility of the acid-fast bacilli (Mycobacterium tuberculosis) is tested against the second-line drugs – Kanamycin, Ethionamide, PAS (P-aminosalicylic acid) and Ofloxacin used for the treatment of TB. This test is useful in providing effective treatment for individuals suffering from TB.
