Test Details: In AFB Drug susceptibility (MACC) 2nd line test, susceptibility of the acid-fast bacilli (Mycobacterium tuberculosis) is tested against the second-line drugs – Moxifloxacin (0.5 µg/ml), Amikacin, Clofazimine and Capreomycin used for the treatment of TB. This test is useful in providing effective treatment for individuals suffering from TB.
