Cardiolipin Antibodies IgA
Test Details: Cardiolipin antibodies blood test IgA, IgG and IgM is used to help investigate inappropriate blood clot formation, to help determine the cause of recurrent miscarriages, or as part of evaluation for antiphospholipid syndrome or sometimes other autoimmune diseases. If anticardiolipin antibodies are detected on an initial test, then it is usually repeated 12 weeks later to help determine whether there presence is temporary or permanent.
