Test Details: Hemosiderin is a pigment formed when haemoglobin breaks down and that is excreted out from urine. This assay is useful for detecting hemosiderinuria secondary to excess haemolysis as in incompatible blood transfusion, acute haemolytic Anemia or in hemochromatosis.
