Test Details: This test is used to measure the level of Methyl Malonic Acid (MMA) in urine. High MMA levels can be a sign of vitamin B12 deficiency. This test is also used to diagnose methyl malonic acidemia, a rare genetic disorder. Symptoms may include vomiting, dehydration, developmental delays and intellectual disability.
